Oh dear.

Apparently I have started a rapid fire on one of my flickr comments about the ROTF premiere.

The admin of the local Transformer forum was upset to read my comment and fired back.

I guess I should have seen it coming as it is easy to find someone's digital footsteps in this day and age of interwebz...
Well, I guess I should take blame for starting it in the first place.

I was unhappy with my second row seats and I voiced it out to another flickr friend there on one of my pics. (You can read the comments here:
[link] ) Actually, if you have known me long enough in cyberspace you would know that I usually rant

things out and that's the end of the story. Sort of 'let it out' of my system thing. No offense to anyone really.
I do understand where the admin is coming from. He has worked so hard to get the tix and the event going.

Instead of being appreciated he finds himself faced with unhappy members who whine and complain about stuff.

On the other hand, as tix buyers we also were expecting something exclusive and at least decent seats based on the advertisement on the forum.

I'm not blaming anyone on this. Both sides have equal points and opinions. After all, internet fights/ debates can never end. This issue made me recall a story which I heard from a third party. Some years back two of my ex-classmates were literally engaged in an e-mail

'battle' on the subject of rabbits. Yes, you heard correctly. Rabbits.

(

I can't believe I'm using that emoticon!

And Serenade would prolly be screaming right now...not rabbits again!

)
One was against rabbits, as she currently resides in NZ or Australia (can't remember

) where rabbits / hares are considered as pests. Meanwhile, another back here was for human (or rabbit) rights and saying it was cruel to kill rabbits.

So the debate went on

and I heard it was pretty heated.

Last I heard I think both made up but not really the best of friends as before.

Another fact is that in comments or blog entries, things expressed are those words typed in that moment.

Moments which include the person's mood, emotion and thoughts. When read at a later day

and time the words can bring about a whole new meaning depending on the reader's mood as well. Words typed earlier could be disruptive, hurtful and it could also be outdated by then.
With all that is said and done, I do regret my actions.

I do apologise to anyone who might have found my comments on flickr (or even the previous entry) offensive or any of the sort.
So, the lesson to learn?
I should just keep my comments to myself

...Or at least, b* about it in pm mode.
